btext counts and cleans text at btext.cc. It is made and run by one person: me, Matias Barragan. This page says what btext keeps about you and how to remove it. If something here is unclear, write to mati@barragan.com.py.

What you type

It never leaves your browser. Counting, cleaning, changing case, sorting and comparing all happen on your device, and I never get a copy. btext does not save it anywhere, not even in this browser.

What the browser remembers

btext remembers one thing in this browser's storage: whether you chose light or dark. Clearing the site data removes it.

Accounts

There are no accounts in btext yet. When there are, signing in will be optional, saving will be off until you turn it on, and this page will say exactly what is kept and where before anything is.

Hosting

Vercel hosts btext and, like any web host, receives your IP address and the pages you open. I do not log what you type.

What I don't do

No analytics or tracking cookies, and no ads. I never sell or share your data. How btext makes money is on the Trust page.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and btext will say so.
